Reflections from HubSpot UNBOUND 2026

By Bridgid McGuire, HubSpot Growth Marketing Manager
Last week, I had the opportunity to attend HubSpot UNBOUND 2026 in Boston alongside our Managing Director, Tina Deprez, and I came home feeling grateful, energized and excited about where our industry is headed.
As Cultivate continues to grow as a growth marketing agency and deepen our work in RevOps as a HubSpot partner, UNBOUND felt especially relevant this year. The conversations went far beyond new product announcements. We heard about AI-driven go-to-market strategy, the changing role of search and AEO, stronger CRM foundations, smarter segmentation, brand differentiation and what it actually takes to integrate AI into the way teams work.
What stood out most to me was the emphasis on evolution over revolution.
There is no question that AI is changing marketing, sales and business operations quickly. But one of my biggest takeaways was that adopting AI effectively does not mean abandoning everything that came before it.
Your strategy still matters. Your data still matters. Your processes, brand, customers and people still matter.
AI can help us do more with all of those things, but only when we approach it intentionally.
I especially appreciated that HubSpot, its presenters and its partners seemed willing to own their role as stewards of this technology. The conversation was not simply about how much AI can do. There was a real focus on how businesses can use it thoughtfully, responsibly and in ways that actually create value.
That perspective aligns closely with how we think about growth marketing at Cultivate.
The goal is not to adopt technology for the sake of adopting it. It is to connect strategy, systems, data, marketing and sales in a way that helps businesses make better decisions and create sustainable growth.
UNBOUND gave us the chance to step outside of the day-to-day, learn from people across marketing, sales and technology, and think more intentionally about what is next for our clients and for Cultivate.
I left Boston with a full notebook, a very full camera roll and plenty of ideas.
More importantly, I left with a stronger sense that the future is not about replacing what works. It is about evolving it, thoughtfully.
